Kern County Sheriff’s Activities League
Letter of Support for Glen Pierce of Gotta Go Bail Bonds
Lamont, CA
March 4, 2014
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter in support of my friend Glen (ACE) Pierce. I have known Glen for about 20 years and first met him through my employment as a Kern County Sheriff’s Deputy.
Glen has been very supportive of many charitable activities both personally and through his businesses including Gotta Go Bail Bonds, B&B Graphics and Code 3 Uniforms.
Gotta Go Bail Bonds has been named Business of the Year 5 times by the Kern County Sheriff’s Activities League. I estimate Glen Pierce and Gotta Go have donated over $100,000 worth of cash and other in kind donations to the Kern County Sheriff’s Activities League ( not to mention many other organizations).
Glen and Gotta Go have sponsored many Sheriff’s Activities League events including: SAL Gold Tournaments, Fishing Derbies, BBQs, Parades, Christmas parties, Safe Halloween Parties, Cards for Seniors/Veterans, Relay for Life, Essay Contests, Oratorical Contests, Bicycle Safety Rodeos and much more.
Glen also sponsors many other Kern County Sheriff’s Office annual events including: Honor Run (Fundraiser for families of fallen officers), Sheriff’s Reserve Rodeo, Downed Officer Ride, Project Linus Blanket events, Trunk or Treat Halloween party, Kids Cancer Camp, Victim Witness Auxiliary Fog Run, Toys for Tots and many others.
Each year Glen donates about 300 tickets for our kids to attend Bakersfield Condor Hockey games. Glen and Gotta Go Bail Bonds are true Community Partners and I congratulate and thank them for making Bakersfield and Kern County a better place to live.
Respectfully Submitted
John Money (KCSO Retired Sgt.)
